How do I become an exhibitor at Messe Dortmund?
Would you like to actively participate as an exhibitor at one of our numerous trade fairs? Do you need additional information and support for your current trade show preparations? Then simply contact our project officers, who will be happy to provide you with personal support and advice at any time. You will find all the exhibitor information you need about the individual trade fairs, including registration documents and conditions of participation, on the website of the trade fair that interests you.

What is the difference between a trade fair for the general public and one for trade visitors?
In contrast to public exhibitions, trade fairs are not open to the general public. Access is only granted on presentation of a trade visitor certificate. You can apply for this online by submitting a document that clarifies your industry affiliation as a pdf file to messe@westfalenhallen.de or by faxing a copy to +49 231 1204-678. The trade visitor criteria are determined by an advisory board, which defines who is eligible to attend and how they can properly register for the trade fair.
How do I find a hotel near Messe Dortmund?
The Mercure Hotel Dortmund Messe and Messe Dortmund are located in the immediate vicinity of each other on the grounds of the Westfalenhallen Group. The Westfalenhalle is even directly connected to the hotel.
If you stay overnight at the Mercure Hotel Dortmund Messe & Kongress, you are only a few minutes' walk from your trade fair stand. You have a direct connection to Dortmund city center via the Westfalenhallen Dortmund city train station (U45, U46), which you can reach in around 10 minutes. You will stay in comfortable hotel rooms of all price categories directly in the countryside. Tourist-Information Dortmund will be happy to help you find suitable accommodation and make a reservation. It is available from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 18:00 and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 15:00.

Where and how can I purchase an admission ticket to Messe Dortmund?
We offer you the following sales channels for purchasing trade fair tickets:
- online in the respective trade fair shop
- Box offices on site
What are the fees for sending tickets?
There are no shipping charges. If you purchase a ticket in the online store, you will receive a print-at-home ticket which you can conveniently print out at home.
When are tickets for a fair available?
Advance sales for the trade fairs in the first half of the year start around mid-November. Advance sales for the trade fairs in the second half of the year start around mid-July.
When and where can I purchase my admission ticket on the day of the fair?
On the day of the fair, tickets are available at the box offices. These are located directly next to the open entrances and open half an hour before the start of the fair. The ticket office closes half an hour before the trade fair closes. A sufficient number of admission tickets are available. It is neither possible nor necessary to reserve tickets in advance.

Are there admission checks?
Your safety is important to us - now more than ever. That's why we can't do without checks. However, you can help us to carry out these checks as smoothly as possible.
✓ Please avoid bringing large items of luggage, bags and rucksacks. Otherwise you may be denied access to the hall.
✓ Bags up to A4 size (21cm x 29.7cm) are unproblematic and may be checked manually.
